Welcome to Lampedusa

Lampedusa is the largest of the Pelagie Islands: crystal-clear water, coves reachable only by sea and one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean. Here you'll find how to get there, what to do and the experiences to book.

Why «O'scià»?

O'scià is a word from the dialect of Lampedusa meaning «my breath», «the breath of my life». Islanders use it as an affectionate greeting, almost a «hi, love»: sweethearts exchange it and people say it to children. It became famous through Claudio Baglioni's «O'Scià» festival (held on the island from 2003 to 2012, and turned into the acronym «Odori, Sapori, Colori d'Isole d'Altomare», scents, flavours and colours of high-sea islands). A name that holds all the warmth of Lampedusa: that is why we chose it.
